One Month Update
October 18, 2003 - 8:45 p.m.
My goodness, Marlee's a month old today.
She's a MONTH old.
She's gone bald on the top, just the top, and has this weird ring of hair around the back of her hed and above her ears. The top of her head is smooth and shiny like an old man's, and is just BEGGING for a comb-over.
She's starting to like looking at toys and making faces at them, she loves when you sing to her and talk to her and put your face right in hers. She likes being naked, except for her diaper, she hates when those come off.
She LOVES bathtime and I mean loves it. She likes taking baths with me, because there is more water to play around in. She is a little frog - I hold just her head and her shoulders and let her float and swim and kick those little legs. She coos and almost-smiles...
Speaking of smiles, she smiled BIG at great-grandma Beak today, and she started to smile at Tim while they were having a conversation, she loves looking at her Dad's face more than mine, and she makes these cute little noises.
She makes all sorts of crazy sleep noises, she purrs and squeaks and whirrs and snores. She cries when Tim leaves the room and acts liks she misses me when someone else has held her for a long time. She gets a bath each night at 9pm and goes to sleep in her crib by 9:30.
Her favorite toy is Buddy, he's a crinkly yellow toy with a big face. She also loves her crib mirror and the mobile on her swing. But she absolutely HATES her playgym, and she is defintely a pacifier baby.
